UGLESICH'S RESTAURANT DESIGNATED OFFICAL LANDMARK

Uglesich's Restaurant which has been a landmark in New Orleans since 1924, is now an official landmark. The City of New Orleans Historic District Landmark Commission has certified and designated Uglesich's Restaurant a Historic Landmark. We all knew that, it is now, however, official from the City of New Orleans.

WE ARE NOW ACCEPTING ORDERS FOR COOKING WITH THE UGLESICHES!

The 192 page Cooking With The Uglesiches features recipes from the restaurant that were not included in the first cookbook; recipes that Anthony and Gail prepare at home; and homemade desserts. Two very special chapters are featured. One chapter, Uglesich's Survives Katrina, focuses on the numerous e-mail's we received during the mandatory evacuation offering prayers, money, and use of their homes.

Many people have seen and heard of the destruction caused by the storm, we have chosen to showcase the good of people around the world. Another chapter, Uglesich's Last Full Day, is a collection of pictures that were taken by our customers on the last full day the restaurant was open. Having the Uglesich's prepare a dinner recently at our home was like sitting at a table at their wonderful restaurant on Baronne in New Orleans. Anthony brought fresh ingridients from New Orleans and the only difference was we got to spend time with he, Gail, and John as they cooked because we did not have to share them with their many regular customers.

Thank you, Uglesich family for preparing for EACH one of us two of our favorite Uglesich appetizers and two of our favorite entrees in our home then serving them so effortlessly. The lovely floral arrangements for each family graced the table and kitchen. We all agree your Uglesich dinner was a family diner to cherish! What an honor to have you all prepare your special magic in our home!
